Anti-fire silicone is a neutrally solidifying silicone sealant with increased fire resistance for filling joints exposed to fire.
- Resists fire for up to 4 hours
- Elastic, mobility ±25%.
- Free of solvents and asbestos.
- Resistant to ageing, UV radiation and weathering.
- Suitable for slightly alkaline and metal surfaces, does not cause corrosion.
Use
It is used to seal expansion joints where fire resistance is required.
For surface treatment of fire doors.
For sealing in construction and processing industries where high fire resistance is required.
Surfaces must be free of grease, oil, dust, old sealant and loose particles.
The surface to be coated must be dry.
Non-porous surfaces should be cleaned with solvent and a clean, non-breathing cotton cloth.
Solvent residues must be removed with a clean cloth before evaporation.
Application temperature between +5 °C and +40 °C. The temperature of the sealant application must be between +20 °C and +25 °C.
Method of use:
Cut off the threaded end of the cartridge and screw on the application nozzle to direct the silicone.
Cut off the threaded end to create a convenient hole for application.
Insert the cartridge together with the applicator into the gun and fill the installation nozzle with silicone.
Apply silicone to the joint by repeatedly and evenly depressing the trigger of the gun and smoothly pulling the nozzle continuously over the joint.
After applying the sealant, smooth it with a rubber scraper.
Remove excess material.

Cleaning:
Uncured acrylic can be removed from hands and tools with water or by using PENOSIL Premium Cleaning wipes.
Cured acrylic should first be removed mechanically and then with a damp cloth.
Storage conditions:
Guaranteed storage period of 18 months from the date of manufacture when stored in a closed original. Pack in a dry place between +5°C and +25°C.
Security requirements:
Ensure adequate ventilation during application. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
