The Arduino Ethernet Shield will allow the Arduino Nano, Mega 1280/2560 or Duemilanove 168/328 development kits to connect to the Internet. Cannot be used alone.
It is compatible with Arduino IDE libraries. The module can be used as a server or client.
Technical parameters:
- uses the Wiznet 5100 Ethernet chip, which allows the use of TCP and UDP protocols. It is possible to use the "Ethernet library" for programming.
- network connection via standard RJ-45 connector.
- contains a reset button (reset kit and shield).
- also contains a slot for a MicroSD memory card, which can be used to transfer data over the network. It is compatible with all Arduino / Genuino kits. The "SD Library" is available for the SD card reader.
- contains five indicator LEDs (TX, RX, 100M, LINK, PWR).
Note: A 510 Ohm quad resistor must be replaced with a 51 Ohm quad resistor for proper operation.
