Universal pliers, which are used for installing and removing Seger ring locking devices. There are 2 types of securing - internal (expandable inside the sleeve) and external (crimp, outside the shaft). The whole set is adapted to work with both external and internal rings. The pliers have straight and bent ends. They are made of durable Cr-V chrome vanadium steel and coated with a durable nickel plating for long life. The set includes 4 7" pliers and is easy to store in a practical, zippered case.

Cr-V Steel

Cr-V chrome vanadium steel is the European equivalent of 8650 steel (the name used in the United States and Japan). Chromium protects the steel against corrosion and the negative influence of oxides. Additionally, it protects against abrasion and makes the steel resistant to high temperatures. Also noteworthy is the fact that this steel does not lose its properties at elevated temperatures, thus preventing deformation of tools.
