Chemistry for lowering pH LAGUNA pH Minus 4.5kg
The ideal pH of bathing water should be in the range of 6.8 - 7.6. Within this range, disinfectants work with maximum efficacy without negative side effects. At pH values below 6.8, it may result in increased deterioration of the pool material, color fading and eye and skin irritation. PH values above 7.6 may cause milk haze, chlorine odor, eye and skin irritation in the water and clogging of the filter.
Dosage:
15g of preparation (1 tablespoon) per 1m3 (1000 liters) of water will reduce the pH by approximately 0.2 (for hard water a higher dose is usually needed). Slowly add the required amount (dissolved in water in a plastic container) at the inflow of water into the pool with the filter device switched on. Check the pH approximately 1 - 2 times a week and regulate any deviations from the ideal value by adding the appropriate product. This is especially necessary before adding disinfectants.
