In sand filtration, the water passes through silica sand, where fine impurities are trapped and pure, filtered water returns to the pool. It is therefore important to flush the filter sand so that dirt does not settle in the sand. We recommend rinsing filtration at least once a week.
The Filtration System of Sand Filtration ProStar 6 consists of a filtration tank with a capacity of 17 kg of filter sand. The container is made of high quality polypropylene (PP). It is seamless, resists corrosion and commonly available chemicals used in swimming pools. The filtration is equipped with a drain valve, pressure gauge, built-in filtration vessel components including an easy-to-operate 6-way valve (which is integrated into the lid of the filter tank), 450W power pump motor, The system is made of high quality materials with strict adherence to technical standards and undergoes an inspection.
