Power inverter with a charger and UPS function (uninterruptible power supply) can be used as a backup power source to ensure the operation of various appliances, especially computers and other data systems, in the event of a power failure. The inverter uses power from the grid. When a power failure occurs in the grid, the inverter starts to transform 12 V DC voltage from the backup battery to 230 V AC in just 8 milliseconds. When power is restored, the inverter will power the appliance again from the grid and will start charging the backup battery. There is also a 5 V USB connector for powering mobile devices.
