Mole and vole repellent FORMAT OdK-H2 with a randomly changing sound
Acoustic electronic expeller of moles, rodents and voles. It is a purely Czech product with a long tradition on the market (since 1991) produced directly by our company FORMAT1 spol. s r. o. The OdKH2 version is the second, improved model of the popular OdKH series. Very reliable, powerful, verified by many customers for more than 29 years. Harmless to both humans and domestic animals.
The device creates an unpleasant sound environment for pests, pests gradually leave the protected area. The device is therefore completely humane, it does not kill animals, it does not harm them, it only makes them uncomfortable to stay in a protected area, ie to drive them away. It does not use any chemical additives added to the soil. It is waterproof, the battery is also located in this watertight space, so even in the event of their damage (leakage), the surrounding soil is not contaminated in any way.
How OdKH2 drives away:
The device emits sound waves that are low frequencies. The frequency of the sound changes quite randomly, both in its pitch and in time. So it's addictive! This is due to the fact that one permanent tone gradually gets used to the pest and the device then ceases to be effective.
The device is spacious (large ordering container) to make low sounds (the subwoofer is also large and bulky, otherwise it would not transmit low tones).
The power of the sound is intense, for long range. Therefore, the device is powered by 6 "C" series batteries, which last the device to power the whole season (approx. 6 months). Due to the required high acoustic power, the OdKH2 is powered by batteries, not a solar cell, which would not be able to supply the required power in this size.
Into the free space (out of the ground) the sound is practically no longer propagated from the device, it is insulated with a double lid.
How for a garden larger than 400m2?
If you have a garden larger than 400 m2, this larger area can be covered by moving the device. E.g. we leave it installed in one part of the garden for a week, then we move it for a week to the other part of the garden and then we return it again, etc. So I definitely use the "inertia" of its action. This can be done at up to 2 places of installation of the device. For an even larger garden, it is necessary to buy more devices.
