Tube trap for catching live moles.

Use
In addition to capturing moles, the trap can also be used to capture voles and rodents.
It works on the principle of a through-pipe, can be used on both sides and is equipped with movable metal flaps at the ends.
The captured animal gets inside, but the flaps no longer let it out and thus remains trapped inside.
We then release the captured animal by squeezing the latch into the tube with our finger, and we can release it into the wild.
It is recommended to check the trap several times a day so that the animal does not suffer unnecessarily in case of capture.

Procedure for setting a trap
Before hunting a mole, it is a good idea to step on all the moles first, and we apply traps to those that the mole recovers by the next day.
First, we uncover the top layer of soil until we reach a horizontal corridor, into which we insert (set) a trap.
We have to place the trap in the passage with the flaps so that it follows the corridor smoothly.
Cover the corridor with the trap with a piece of wood or an inverted bucket.
It is recommended that all handling of the trap be done in gloves, if possible, to avoid human odor.
After catching a mole, it is good to set a trap again, because there are only a few moles in the garden.
