It is a glue strip with a pheromone for monitoring the occurrence of food moles. The advantage of the adhesive tape is its ease of use. It can be hung anywhere with a hook or string. The catcher is small and compact. The adhesive strip is able to attract moths from a wide range and one trap is enough for a space of 500 m3. The attractiveness and thus the effectiveness on food moths is proven both by laboratory tests and by practical use.
The aim of the trap is to interrupt the reproduction of food moles, and thus prevent the eggs from being placed in food. Therefore, its installation will not immediately kill adults, but will ensure that they do not appear in food larvae.
