The product has been tested and is classified accordingly:
Facade putty for indoor use.
Application procedure
Application temperature between + 5 ° C and + 40 ° C. The application temperature of the sealant must be +20 ° C - +25 ° C. Application at temperatures below +5 ° C can only be carried out when the attached surfaces are free of condensation, snow and ice. Do not use in contact with fibrous cement and mortar and with natural stones such as marble and granite. Do not use in contact with metals such as lead, copper, brass and zinc due to corrosion. Silicone can change color upon contact with some organic elastomers, such as EPDM and neoprene. Not suitable for sealing aquariums and for underwater use. Cannot be painted.
Surface preparation:
Surfaces must be cleaned of dust, loose particles and oil. Non-porous surfaces should be cleaned with a solvent and a clean, lint-free cotton cloth. Residual solvent must be removed with a clean cloth before evaporation.
Method of use:
310 ml cartridge: Cut off the threaded end of the cartridge and screw on the application nozzle to direct the sealant. Cut the threaded end to make a suitable hole for the application. Insert the cartridge with the applicator into the gun and press the trigger of the gun repeatedly to fill the installation nozzle with sealant. 600 ml foil pack: Open the gun application nozzle, insert the pack into the gun, and open the applicator side by removing the retaining clip. Place the application nozzle on the open end and screw on the cap. Apply sealant to the joint by repeatedly and evenly pressing the trigger of the gun and smoothly pulling the nozzle across the joint. After application, smooth the surface with a rubber silicone scraper and remove excess material. Ensure adequate ventilation during application. Maximum recommended joint size 30x20 mm. Can be used with reinforcing fabric. Ensure adequate ventilation at all joints. During curing, make sure that no dirt settles on the surface and that the joint surface is not mechanically stressed.
Cleaning:
Uncured sealant, tools and hands can be cleaned with PENOSIL Premium cleaning wipes. Hardened sealant can be removed mechanically with PENOSIL Premium Silicone Remover to soften the sealant. Clean the surface with a cloth and water.
