The device performs repeated measurements every second. Exceeding the maximum CO level is indicated optically (by a red LED) and by an acoustic alarm (loudly pulsing with a signal strength of 85 dB).
The carbon monoxide measuring device is equipped with Test / Reset buttons which are able to verify the correct functioning of the device. The status of the sensor, batteries, and internal circuits is monitored by the system of automatic efficiency control devices. If a fault is detected, the corresponding safety signal is triggered. Battery power allows the device to be positioned in the optimal position. Thanks to the special design of the device it can be placed not only on the wall in the room but also on flat surfaces such as the bedside table.
