This smart sensor detects whether windows or doors are open or closed and sends this information to Nedis SmartLife. This requires the Nedis Zigbee gateway (WIFIZBxxx).
This sensor allows you to automatically do many different things, such as alerting you when someone is in your house, or sending you a reminder when you leave a window or door open.
By connecting this sensor to other products in Nedis SmartLife, you can activate any other Nedis SmartLife product (eg light, smart plug or siren) when the door is opened, or you can turn off the heating or air conditioning by leaving the door open.
Its compact size and the supplied battery with a lifespan of up to one year (at six starts per day) allow you to place this sensor wherever you want (within approximately 30 meters of the Zigbee gate).
