An important factor for maintaining pool water is proper filtration. Cartridge filters are the simplest, their disadvantage is fast fouling, low functionality and incomplete contamination. A more effective option is sand filtration. Sand, as we all know, is an excellent medium for mechanical water filtration. Sand filters have a relatively long lifetime, varying about 1 - 2 times in two years. Laguna Aqua-filter adds something more. Not only does it have the same efficiency as sand - a mechanical filter, but its active surface acts as a sorbent, so it is able to remove dissolved chemical impurities from the water. This filtered water is much better than sand filtration, and also facilitates the use of pool chemistry. Once every two years, the filter cartridge needs to be regenerated with saline. The filter sand can be easily replaced with the Lagoon Aqua-filter, which requires no technically demanding filters or special equipment. In addition, using the Aqua-Filter Lagoon will reduce the cost of maintaining pool water, increase the effect of chlorination, thereby reducing the amount of active chlorine required by up to 30%. Pool odor and eye and skin irritation will be reduced. First wash the Aqua-filter in a container of water, allow to settle and then pour off the water to remove dust particles to prevent them from being washed into the pool water. Then pour the wet filling into the filter and wash the filter cartridge with water outside the pool. After 2 years, the Laguna Aqua-filter in the filter is soaked in 10% salt solution (1 kg NaCl for every 10 liters) for 6-12 hours. After this time, the regenerated filter is washed and rinsed out of the pool. This makes the filter ready for further operation.
