Chemistry for lowering pH LAGUNA pH Minus 1.5kg
The product is designed to reduce the pH of the pool water. The ideal pH value for bathing water should be between 6.8 and 7.6. Within this range, the disinfectants act with maximum efficiency and no negative side effects. At pH values below 6.8, there may be increased disruption of the pool materials, fading of colors, and eye and skin irritation. PH values above 7.6 may cause cataracts, chlorine odor, eye and skin irritation in the water and filter clogging may occur. Slowly add the required amount of the product (dissolved in water in the plastic container) to the pool water inlet with the filter device switched on. Check the pH (testers) after thorough mixing. Repeat this process until the pH is within the desired range. The presence of people in the pool must be avoided until the product is thoroughly mixed with the filtering device! Then check the pH value once a week and adjust the deviations from the ideal value by adding Laguna pH plus or Laguna pH minus. This is especially necessary before adding disinfectants.
Dosage:
- 15 g of the preparation (1 straight tablespoon) per 1 m3 of water (1,000 liters) will reduce the pH by about 0,2 (usually a higher dose is needed for hard water)
